Author's Pov:-
A girl sat at the steps of the lake watching the water. The sunset casting a warm glow on her face. Making her face shine brighter. She was wearing a kurti with jeans her hair tied with a flower clip matching with her kurti. Small jhumki adorned her ears while wind blowing making the jhumki move and kiss her cheek. She looked soo beautiful that anyone could fall for her the moment they saw her. She sat there for a minute and stood up picking up her phone and started walking.
As she walked at for few minutes she reached her house. She looked at the large gate which was opened by the guards as she stood there. They bowed their head to her in respect and she just shook her head.
"Uncle how many times I have told you don't do this infront me. I'm just like your daughter and elders don't look good while bowing there head for their children." She said looking at the elderly gaurd while her arms crossed over her chest.
"Sorry daughter this won't happen again." The guards said looking at her with a warm smile and she smiled and went from there.
Standing near the door of the palace she took a deep breath and entered only to find her parents sitting on the couch of the living area looking frustrated and worried at the same time. As she entered she was about to go to her room without looking at anyone but her steps halted as she listened the sharp voice.
"Tara." Her father called her name as she was about to go to her and she just took a deep breath before turning her head. She stood there her fingers gripping her kurti.
"Yes papa." She said trying to sound normal but her words could tell she wasn't normal her father took a step towards her. With each step of her father her body stiffened. Thinking why was he looking at her with those frustrated and eyes fuild with anguish.
THUD!
She fell on the cold marble of the living room because of the tight slap she recieved from her father. Her eyes welled up with tears while her mother smiled looking at the scene infront of her. A smile of satisfaction looking at the tears in Tara's eyes. She sat there without moving while tears streaming down her cheeks when she finally felt a pull on her hair.
"How dare you to kiss that guy?" Her father questioned her pulling her hair with all the force he had and she felt numb because she didn't do anything. She knew what they were talking about the girl in the photo wasn't her it was 'Sara'. After a few minutes her father yanked her and her forhead collided with the floor making her wince in pain
She composed herself again and tried to stood up but couldn't.
"Papa..." Before she could speak further her mother came and held her from her jaw while clenching her jaw because she knew the actual truth but she didn't wanted her husband to know what the actual truth was.
"Shut up he isn't your father now. You just ruined our reputation, you failed as a daughter. Learn something from your elder sister atleast she isn't characterless like you." Her mother said and her words felt like a sharp knife pressed in her heart. Her eyes red with crying her neck and jaw had the marks of fingers because they held it so tightly.
"Let's go Mahira, She is just an disappointment. I don't want to waste my time on her." Her father said and her mother smiled at his words while leaving Tara crying.
A maid from the house watched the scene unfolded right infront of her. She went towards Tara and kept her hand on Tara's shoulder and Tara shivered at the sudden touch. She immediately turned her only to find the maid looking at her with moist eyes. Eyes which had concern and pity for her.
She made Tara stand on her feet and helped her go to her room while going with her. She opened the door of her room and made Tara sit on the bed while she herself went to bring the first box to apply the bandaged her wound. Her head was bleeding because she hit the ground so badly.
"I have told you many times you should just leave from here and go to the boarding school, because that will be better place then this hell." The maid said without looking at her and just kept bandaging her wound.
Tara smiled looking at her lovingly because since her chilhood the only person who actually cared for her in the whole house was her. She gave her the love which her mother never gave her. Tara held her hands and made her sit beside while resting her head in her lap.
"You know the only reason to stay in this house for me is you. I love you so much. I love my parents too but sometimes I feel like as if I'm not their daughter. She said while tears streamed down her cheeks but a smile of peace which she found in her lap was clearly visible on her face. Tara laying with her head in Kirti's lap while she caressed her head.
"I hope you will soon find someone who will actually know your value." Kirti said while making her lay on the bed comfortabely and went outside the room closing the door.
Meanwhile a guy sitting in the centre of a abondened hall of a building with his head resting backwards on the chair. The room filled with screams and cries of a person who was hanged with rope in the same hall. The knife held in his hand moved along with his hand.
"You dared to look at my family and I'll make sure you won't be able to open your eyes for the rest of your life." Saying this he threw the knife in his direction, the knife hit him directly on his heart and with a last wince he was dead no more screams, no more faint cries nothing.
The guy was none other than "MIHIR RAICHAND."
A well known politician and the king of the dark realm and has a reputed name in the business world. A walking death for people. Hates nonsense and couldn't bear anyone talking useless.
"Clean the mess." Saying this he left from there towards his car while going to his car his phone started ringing while bodyguards stood on his every side. His phone rang and taking it out from his pocket he answered the call it was the call from his grandmother which he couldn't dare to ignore.
As he was talking on the call all the guards looked towards the surrounding because they didn't wanted any harm on their boss. His grandmother scolding him for not coming home early and him listening to her like a obedient child. As if he didn't just a killed a guy few minutes ago with a knife.
As he ended the call the voice of gun shot startled him. Before anyone could react the bullet went giving him a small cut on his arm. All the guards looked at the surrounding few stood around him covering him compeletly and took him to the car. As the reached the car the driver drove to the Raichand Mansion.
He looked but there was no one in the surroudings sighing he was about to go to his room but before he could take another step. He listened a loving voice calling him with the nickname she gave him.
"Guddu, Is this the time to come back?" His grandmother asked looking at the clock which showed the time was exact 12am midnight while walking towards him and he cursed the entire world in his one breath because he knew that if she gets to know about the gun shot the whole house will be carried on her head.
He turned towards her with a smile she smiled back and started moving further. As she took a few steps she saw the blood on his arm and that was the time when he realised that it was done now.
"What is this? How did this happen? Who did this?." She asked while tears forming in her eyes looking at his grandson. Seeing the tears in her eyes his jaw clenched but he masked it with a smile.
"Dadi, its nothing. I was going somewhere and I don't know from where a bullet was shot and that just gave me a small cut." He said explaining her not telling the whole truth.
"This is just a small cut?" Guddu just sit here and let me apply the bandage." She said and asked one of the staff member to bring the first aid box as she brought and she bandaged his arm.
"We are going Ajmer tommorrow." She said and Mihir didn't argued because he knew he wouldn't be able to win infront of her.
"Hmm." He nodded and she kissed his head lovingly and he went to his room.
"Aaaaa." Tara woke up with a scream her face completely filled with sweat and her breath heavy. Her heart throbbing in her chest. Her fingers shivering.
"What was that, the blurred dream, the gun shot." She said pressing her forhead with her hands and with heavy breaths.
"Why do I see this dream everyday from past 16 years." She asked herself but she didn't had any answer for this.
